Air Cargo Screening Qualified Technology List (ACSQTL)
The U.S. 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 requires The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) to establish a system to screen 100 percent of cargo transported on passenger planes by 2010. TSA has placed the Rapiscan 620DV, 627DV, 632DV, 638DV, 620XR, 627XR and 628XR X-ray screening systems on the air cargo screening technology list which may be used by airlines, air cargo carriers, freight forwarders list, IACs and other companies to comply with TSA’s new screening regulations.
DfT Approval for Use
The Rapiscan 620DV is one of an elite number of screening systems to obtain approval for use status from the United Kingdom’s Department for Transport (DfT).
