Threat Recognition TrainingThe Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy delivers various Threat Recognition training programs within various sectors including Aviation, Ports, Prisons, Courthouses, Government Agencies and Events. Each program was purposefully designed to strengthen operational competence of security staff, increase security awareness and reduce the overall threat risk.
Our Threat Recognition educational programs enable students to become knowledgeable and informed on the current and emerging threats affecting their sector - and teaches them how to best use security equipment to effectively and efficiently detect threats.
We provide students with developed advanced threat recognition content, focussed on relevant and current threats. Programs are available at Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels, as well as tailored options for customers with specific operational requirements. Digital Learning options, such as eLearning and distance learning, are also available on some of our basic level courses.

Aviation Security TrainingThe Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy offers various security training and education certifications, providing companies and students with current and relevant security information on international legislation offering a strategic approach to addressing today’s security challenges.
Our fully accredited and specialized training department provide various training and education programs certified by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Department for Transport (DfT) such as Aviation Security Manager and General Security Awareness Training.

General Trace Detection
Our one-day course provides students with an in-depth overview of the Rapiscan Systems Trace equipment capability and shows how its effective use can benefit drug detection within the law enforcement and criminal justice domains.
Policing the Drug Market
Our one-day “Policing the Drug Market” course is designed to help tackle drug detection. This course is suitable for a variety of policing teams such as, Police search units, neighborhood teams, dog handlers and drug officers.
General Narcotics Awareness
Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy offer a one-day “General Narcotics Awareness” course that covers key topics on the current various types of narcotics, the behavior of persons under the influence of narcotics, narcotic use and the associated risks of narcotic use. The course discusses benefits of quick, effective identification of narcotics with Trace Detection; along with an overview of Rapiscan’s full range of machines and their suitability to the relevant task.

Our one-day “Cash Testing and the Current Drug Market” course is designed to enhance student knowledge on Home Office and Police perspectives on Itemiser ITEMISER cash testing.

This one-day “Social Scene Drug Use Awareness” course is designed for a variety of security and events staff to enhance knowledge and skills surrounding current drug trends relating to events and the social scene.

The Rapiscan Learning Academy offers bespoke and advanced digital learning options to support a range of training options. Our Digital Learning courses use methods such as knowledge transfer, videos, gamification, interactive eLearning and formal assessment - all of which can be provided in many different language options and formats.
The Rapiscan Learning Academy is able to provide digital learning to customers across the global network through via our advanced Learning Management System (LMS). Our Learning Management System can be accessed on most smart phones, tablets, laptops and computers. Not only creating a safer space, our mobile learning reduces costs and adds flexibility as students and companies are not tied down to fixed study schedules.

Recertification TrainingOur recertification courses are designed to provide our students who have previously attended a Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy training program with an up to date consolidation of their initial training, followed by an overall assessment to fully re-certify them. We identify developmental areas, and provide updates to support the overall learning journey.
Recertification can be acquired either digitally via our Learning Management System 24/7, at one of our training centers of excellence, or at your location.

The Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy offers various re-certification options to ensure all operators are fully certified to remain competent in using Rapiscan Systems equipment.
Supervisor eLearning Recertification Training
