SUPERB IMAGE QUALITY
The Orion 928DX offers 38 AWG standard wire resolution and 37 mm steel penetration with 1.3mm vertical & horizontal spatial resolution, to complete its high performance screening system with display capability options in the Classic 4-color and Rapiscan’s proprietary Spectrum 4-color imaging process enabling faster and accurate screening.
OPERATOR ASSIST TOOLS
Target™ function highlights regions of an X-ray image that could be explosive material. The algorithm estimates factors such as atomic number, density, and size and then compares these values to characteristics of known explosive materials to identify possible threats.
NARCScan algorithm is designed to highlight areas of an image that might contain narcotics. NARCScan works in real time, using a proprietary algorithm to process scan data to estimate material characteristics including atomic number, density, and size.
Density Threat Alert (DTA) visually highlights high- absorbing regions of the X-ray image. The algorithm generates a visible alert on the screen and the user can select the density threshold at which this alarm will activate, to best meet the needs of their application.
DUAL MODE AUTO ZEFF
The dual mode Z-effective feature aids the operator in the identification of organic materials, accurately and quickly, either in Range Mode which highlights areas based on operator selected Z-effective values of 7, 8 or 9, or in Interactive Mode which gives the operator the option to display the Z-effective number of a selected pixel. This capability enhances both the efficiency and accuracy of the material identification screening process.
MATRIXING, NETWORKING & REMOTE VIEWING
Available networking options offer the ability to perform configuration management from one central network computer, remote network image archive review from a unified management platform, remote status monitoring through a web enabled interface, and a multi-system alarm resolution network display station to improve the effectiveness of manual searches by providing scanned reference images to the manual screener.
