Rapiscan Presents at Soccerex Global Convention

Last week Rapiscan Systems presented their event security capability at the annual Soccerex Global Convention in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Soccerex Global Convention facilitates the expansion of international organisations into key football markets such as Brazil, by ensuring they meet the right government officials and local mediators to help exploit their growth potential in Brazil and South America.

Rapiscan Systems was invited to speak as part of the “Legacy and Infrastructure” panel within the main conference. Steve Revell, Rapiscan Systems Commercial Director for London 2012,  presented “Lessons Learned from Preparing for London 2012” and gave emphasis to legacy and sustainability discussing job creation and qualification, both very important to the social impact and deliverance of major events security to Brazil.

Rapiscan Systems was the only security screening manufacturer present, showing our ever growing commitment to the football world and generally the events industry.
