Rapiscan 520B

The Rapiscan 520DV (Dual View) provides a horizontal and vertical view of the object under inspection to improve throughput and provide better object discrimination. These two perpendicular views provide a complete perspective of complex parcels regardless of their orientation in the X-ray system. Dual view technology eliminates the need for screeners to reposition and re-scan parcels in high security environments.

The dual energy 520DV provides automatic color coding of materials with different atomic numbers so that screeners can easily identify objects within the parcel.

The Rapiscan 520DV has a large tunnel opening of 640mm (25.2 inches) wide by 430mm (16.9 inches) high to accommodate large parcels. The system is available in both Right Hand and Left Hand configurations. .

Features & Options

Network Display Station (NDS): NDS improves threat detection, throughput, and simplifies operating procedures by enabling the operator performing a manual search of suspect bags to reconcile the actual bag contents with the scanned image.

Network Management System (NMS): Allows a supervisor to monitor the performance of many X-ray checkpoints in a large facility from a single location.

Enhanced Performance X-ray (EPX): Enables consistent detection of materials having characteristics of explosives, narcotics, gold, currency and agricultural products.

Operator Training Program (OTP): OTP enables the X-ray system to be used as a training terminal without running parcels.
