The Rapiscan 520 Compact is a high performance, highly mobile, dual energy X-ray system ideal for use in areas where space is a concern. The system employs a unique mechanical design that provides a generous tunnel opening of 640mm x 430mm in a footprint that is 20% less than comparable systems. This innovation enables the Rapiscan 520 Compact to provide the highest performance per unit of occupied space.

The Rapiscan 520 Compact has a width of only 735mm which allows it to be moved through smaller access points such as doorways and narrow hallways. The Rapiscan 520 Compact is equipped with an operator console and a flat panel LCD monitor which can be securely and automatically stowed when not in use. Folding conveyor beds and tunnel covers, and easy-roll castors add to the systems flexibility and maneuverability.

The Rapiscan 520 Compact is an innovative step forward in checkpoint X-ray technology. Less than five minutes are required to configure the system from storage to use. The Rapiscan 520 Compact is the ideal solution when rapid deployment and relocation of checkpoint security are required.
