Network Display Station (NDS™) enables security professionals to efficiently manage the continuous flow of bags for suspected threat objects and ensures the checkpoint screening process is thorough.
Rapiscan Systems' Network Display Station provides a secondary screening operator the same software tools as the main operator to view an X-ray image; showing all baggage contents with highlights of any suspicious objects. By providing secondary screeners with the annotated image to know exactly where to search in a suspect bag, NDS simplifies screening procedures.
The Network Display Station can be installed with any Rapiscan X-ray system. During each scan, once the main operator identifies a bag that requires a secondary manual search, the bag's image transmitted to the NDS at the secondary screening area. The secondary screening operator can then easily reconcile the image with the contents of the bag keeping checkpoint traffic flowing while maintaining thorough screening.
Rapiscan NDS™ features:
* Image Queuing: In this innovative system, baggage can continue to be scanned normally without any delay or wait time.
* Transmitted images are automatically stored and queued at the NDS station. The images are stored and presented on a first in, first out basis. Once a bag is marked as clear or suspect by the secondary operator, the next image will automatically appear.
