Representative David Price On Hand At Companys Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Rapiscan Systems, Inc., a leading provider of security scanning solutions for critical applications for aviation, defense and homeland security, announced today that U.S. Representative David Price (D-NC) and dignitaries from the Raleigh Durham area will be on hand for this afternoons ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the companys new 31,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Apex, North Carolina. The site will produce the companys High Energy X-Ray Cargo and Vehicle Inspection Product Line for deployment to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection throughout the United States and to select international locations.
Rapiscan Systems selected Apex, North Carolina due to its outstanding workforce, proximity to Raleigh Durham International Airport, the Research Triangle Park, and the areas many outstanding universities and colleges. The North Carolina Governors Office, the State Economic Development Department, and the Raleigh Durham Community College System were instrumental in helping the company select the Apex site and quickly initiate operations.
