Rapiscan Systems, a global leading supplier of security inspection systems, announced today the launch of the Metor 300 Portable walk-through metal detector a versatile, state-of-the-art unit that combines advanced metal detection technology with practical design elements. The system was developed specifically for customer applications that require portability, high throughput and increased performance.  It is especially well suited for outdoor events, temporary checkpoints, conferences, conventions, and other scenarios that require flexible security solutions.  With the ability to be installed and operational in less than 10 minutes, the Metor 300 Portable has an exceptionally high screening throughput and is suitable for indoor or outside use and inclement weather conditions.
